I'm Johanna Blomqvist

Johanna Blomqvist, Ph.D., is a physicist, entrepreneur and internationally published bestselling author.

In her work, she combines a wide variety of fields and methods in a unique way, often discussing topics from the cutting edge and unconventional areas of science. Since childhood she has been interested in understanding our reality, consciousness and our role in this universe.

She teaches courses in modern physics and self-development in an eye-opening way, with a strong emphasis on unlocking all human potential. Her continuing interest is also our connection with each other, and how we affect the reality we observe. She is the creator of The Messenger of Water™ training and also a remote energy healer and reiki teacher regularly organizing group remote energy healing sessions free of charge.

My Story

Dr. William Bengston’s work and studies were eye-opening for me. I decided that if I was a “true scholar,” I could not omit any area simply because the method did not fit into my worldview. I began learning, collecting data, and writing about my findings, and my first book From Quantum Physics to Energy Healing – A Physicist’s Journey to Mind and Healing was born (Finnish 2016, English version 2018). I needed to find out what science had to say about energy healing — if anything. Doesn’t modern science rule out phenomena like this?

The reason I became a physicist in the first place was that I have always wanted to know: Why are we here? What is our reality? Could I find a theory that describes everything?

During my journey into the world of energy healing — a journey that still continues — I learned that the real issue may lie in our worldview. In the book Hyperreality – Beyond the Horizon Where Physics Meets Consciousness (Finnish 2020, English version 2021), I addressed these questions: What kind of worldview does modern physics actually shape for us?

If we want humanity to continue living on Earth into the future, we must move to the next level — the so-called post-materialistic era. We have no alternatives. We need to change our thinking and start living according to the principles we know exist in our reality — Hyperreality.

It was a surprise even to me where the journey continued next. I began receiving messages in which water was the unifying factor, and after all, we are almost 70% water ourselves. And there is much we still don’t know about water… I had no choice but to write The Mystery of Water – Dive into Our Deepest Essence (Finnish 2023, English 2024).

Johanna Blomqvist, Ph.D., is a physicist, internationally published author, teacher and lecturer. Blomqvist is a cold-water swimming enthusiast and approaches any subject with an open and inquisitive researcher’s attitude.

In her work, Blomqvist uniquely combines many different disciplines and methods, often approaching the frontiers of science as a pioneer. Blomqvist’s previous works include From Quantum Physics to Energy Healing – A Physicist’s Journey to Mind and Healing, Hyperreality – Beyond the Horizon Where Physics Meets Consciousness, and The Mystery of Water – A Physicist’s Dive into Our Deepest Essence.

Johanna Blomqvist’s doctoral thesis focused on using quantum mechanics-based, more accurate models for developing new materials.[1]. After her graduation she worked as a research scientist in University of Helsinki and as a specialist and development manager in some Finnish Science and IT organizations.

Blomqvist’s first popular science book was published in 2016 in Finnish and in 2018 English. In From Quantum Physics to Energy Healing, she shares her personal journey: how she learned Reiki and energy healing, the experiences she encountered along the way, and especially how she explains this phenomenon.[2]

Her second book Hyperreality addresses the topic that has been of interest to her since childhood: What is reality, and what kind of worldview does modern physics lead us to? [3]

The Mystery of Water is a physicist’s "dive" into water, our deepest essence. Could solving the mystery of water also help us to understand ourselves? [4]

Blomqvist has worked as a full-time entrepreneur since 2014 giving lectures and courses related to the topics of her books. She also offers remote energy healing sessions. In her free-of-charge group remote energy healing sessions there are often thousands of participants from all over the world.
